Terms of use

What you commit to, and what we commit to, when you book on a provider's site.

1. Purpose

pirogue provides the technical platform of the site you book on: the page, the calendar, the confirmation e-mail and, when the provider offers it, online payment. The service itself is provided by the provider named on the page: your contract is with them.

2. Booking

To book, you give your name, e-mail and phone number. You receive a confirmation e-mail with a link to view or cancel your booking. That link is personal: do not pass it on to anyone.

The amount shown before you confirm is the amount you are asked to pay: the price of the service or, when it requires one, the deposit, in CFP; for a payment link, in the currency shown. The number of upcoming bookings per person may be limited.

3. Payment

When the provider offers online payment, it is collected by their payment provider (Mobupay or EpayNC) into the provider's account. pirogue never collects, holds or refunds any amount. Your card details are entered in the payment provider's form or on its payment page and never pass through pirogue.

When the provider allows it, you can also choose to pay them directly on the day of the appointment.

4. Cancellation and refunds

Each service has a cancellation policy, shown before you book and repeated in the confirmation e-mail. It sets what is refunded depending on when you cancel. Any refund due is ordered on the provider's behalf from their payment provider, to the payment method used.

Once the service has started, the link no longer allows cancellation: contact the provider directly.

5. Your data

Your data is used to manage your booking and send the e-mails that go with it. The provider has access to it in order to receive you. Details, retention periods and your rights are on the Privacy page; you can write to contact@pirogue.nc.

6. Liability

pirogue is not the provider: the service, how it unfolds and its quality are the provider's responsibility. pirogue does its best to keep the site and booking available, without being able to guarantee it at all times.

7. Governing law

Governing law and competent court: to be completed.
